Growing the crop seems easy when compared to a successful harvest process. Here’s where the rubber meets the road….

Sequence: which strains are harvested in what order?

Tops: what plants get topped, if they do, and when, and in what order?

Chopping and Weighing plants is just the tip of the iceberg when it comes to harvesting cannabis. Next a cultivator has to focus on stabilization (drying, curing, storage)

Of the topped plants, how does that inventory become properly weighed, logged and stored?

How does the harvested plant material become stabilized?

-Freezing

-Heat-drying

-Low-humidity drying

In what environment does the plant material become stabilized?

In a grain dryer

Via cryo-pasteurization (That’s VIST!)

Hang dry (with or without stem or meristem)

Wet trim and rack

Dividing into SKU’s

Biomass destined for extraction

Flowers

Remediation

Human or mechanical QC process of sorting good flowers from bad

Third party testing and quarantine
